What this measures

The Federal Reserve's H.15 release reports yields on Treasury securities of different maturities. This page follows the 10-year and 2-year series. They are published for business days, so a weekend or holiday carries the last published value.

How to read the table

Change is the difference from the previous observation, in basis points; one basis point is 0.01 percentage point. Unchanged means the published value did not move. The observed date is the date the value applies to.

The 10-year minus 2-year spread

The spread is the 10-year yield minus the 2-year yield, in percentage points. A negative value means the 2-year yield is above the 10-year yield. It describes the gap between two published series and does not forecast either one.

What this page does not tell you

Treasury yields are one input among many for consumer loan and deposit rates, and the link between them is not one-to-one. This site does not recommend or rank lenders, banks, or products.
